Founded in 2018, the Luxembourg Association for Scientific and International Research (Lux-SIR, Scientific International Research) is an important Luxembourg scientific research hub.

This association is the starting point to create a fairer and more dynamic research environment. Scientific works often encounter obstacles; this association permits to throw off the dead weight of social and political determinism. Most of the time researchers have to find the funds to present and/or publish their research papers. Even if the research work is of high quality, the financial constraints in many instances do not authorize the researchers to share their knowledge.

Lux-SIR aims at expanding knowledge by a shared qualitative and independent research, improved by the research community whatever the field.

“A sustainable worldwide research for a better world ” is the leitmotiv of Lux-SIR.
